From Antient times, no Master or Fellow could be absent from his Lodge, especially when warned to appear at it, without incurring a severe censure, unless it appeared to the Master and Wardens that pure necessity hindered him

Lodge meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month September to May, excluding January with the Installation in November. Dress code is a dark lounge suit, a black or masonic tie, white shirt, white gloves, plain dark socks and black shoes.

Standing committee meetings are held on the Monday prior to the Lodge meeting at which Officers of the Lodge are expected to attend

Junior Brethren's practice nights are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, September to April, excluding December, at which Master Masons up to the rank of Senior Warden are encouraged to attend particularly if currently holding office or will be the following year. Casual attire, though the Masonic Club has a dress code excluding jeans and trainers for members.
